The scholarship program of the Black Men Rock Image Awards is dedicated to empowering and supporting the academic pursuits of exceptional black male graduating seniors. In times past, we awarded the Black Men Rock Image Awards Scholarship and made donations to the NACCP Scholarship Fund of the Suffolk, Virgnia Chapter; however, since the passing of our Founder, the late Jacobby Debouvier, we desired to create as scholarship in his honor as a memorial scholarship. Our mission is to provide financial assistance to promising young individuals who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and a desire to pursue higher education at a 2-4 year college or university. Through our scholarship program, we seek to foster educational opportunities and empower future leaders to reach their full potential. Our goal is to award scholarships to graduating seniors who exhibit a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher, encouraging academic excellence and providing the necessary support to pursue their educational aspirations. By investing in the education of black males, we strive to create pathways to success, promote diversity and inclusion, and inspire positive change within our communities and beyond.
