The Legacy of Care Scholarship aims to ensure that the Rosebud Indian Reservation and the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation receive the necessary hospice providers, facilities, and resources to support individuals and families facing end-of-life care. This initiative is in honor of my late father, who bravely battled Stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer. By establishing this scholarship, I seek to keep his memory and legacy alive, while also providing crucial support to other families so they do not have to endure the hardships my family faced.
