Getting diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's at 46 was a shocker. As a single mom, I've had to juggle my health and the financial burden of supporting my daughters in college. Parkinson's doesn't just hit the person diagnosed—it hits the whole family. My daughters now face extra financial pressures because of my illness. To help others in the same boat, I'm offering a scholarship for students with a parent or caregiver diagnosed with young onset Parkinson's. I hope to give something back to these kids who are navigating life with a parent battling a disease. This scholarship aims to ease some financial and emotional weight on these students and support them in their educational journey.
