Katie, I'm so excited to finally write this letter of appreciation to you! I’ve just wrapped up an incredible internship as a NOAA Ernest F. Hollings Scholar at NOAA Science Camp in Seattle, WA. I’m beyond grateful and truly honored to have been chosen for this scholarship. As a first-generation, low-income student, donors like you make an enormous difference in my college journey. This scholarship will seriously help cover more of my educational expenses as I head into my final semester. Community service and stewardship have been such vital parts of who I am as a young adult, and I can't thank you enough for recognizing the passion and effort I’ve dedicated to making a positive impact in the world!
