As a healthcare professional and single parent, I understand the unique challenges that come with balancing education, career, and family. The Kaprieasha Tyler Healthcare Scholarship was created to support single parents who are pursuing degrees or certificates in healthcare while working hard to build a better future. This scholarship aims to ease financial burdens and encourage those who are striving to enter high-demand healthcare fields such as Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology, Radiology, Sonography, Physical Therapy Assisting, Occupational Therapy Assisting, and other frontline roles. My goal is to empower single parents to keep moving forward, knowing that their hard work matters — not only for themselves, but for their families and the communities they will one day serve.
