I am so honored to receive this scholarship and share my truth in processing and handling mental health issues. Though this fight is far from over, it a pleasure to be an advocate for mental health awareness and break stigmas around receiving support and services for those us battling against mental diagnoses. This scholarship will help cover my room and board fees for my semester abroad in the United Arab Emirates. Thank you so much for your support and diligence in helping those us with silenced voices to be heard and understood.

I want to extend my deepest appreciation for choosing me as the winner of this scholarship. It means the world to me. I am truly thankful. This will help me pay for my tuition for next semester and help me continue to learn how to help others. I never win anything, which is discouraging at times and now I am filled with hope. I also want to thank you for hearing my story and allowing me to advance as a finalist in this scholarship.
