Background: Billy Downey, born and bred in Texas, growing up in a large and loving family in Central Texas, surrounded by the laughter and camaraderie of seven sisters and five brothers. From a young age, he exhibited a deep-rooted aspiration to create his own family and contribute meaningfully to the community. From very humble beginnings his dream took shape in the form of the Bar-D Ranch in Kaufman County, where he poured his heart and soul into the land and the legacy he was building and accomplished to pass on to others. Growing a dream into a reality without resigning to any obstacle. Mission: To support growth minded students with assistance to further their education enabling them to take initiatives that support the community they live in.
