I am writing to offer my heartfelt gratitude for awarding me Maria's Legacy: Alicia's Scholarship. I am truly honored to have been selected, and I am forever grateful for your generosity and support. Receiving this scholarship is such an honor to me—not just financially, but personally. It's such a wonderful encouragement to have someone believe in my potential and be a part of alleviating some of the burdens while I pursue further education. It allows me to focus more completely on my studies and future aspirations, and reminds me that I don't have to go through this alone. I know that this scholarship also carries the legacy of Alicia and Maria, and I am moved by how much their memory continues to impact. I will try to do justice to that legacy by working hard, being committed, and making a meaningful impact in others' lives—as this scholarship is making in mine.
