Receiving this scholarship eases a big part of the financial responsibility as I pursue my education at Alcorn State, an HBCU in Mississippi! This helps me focus on my classes, extracurricular activities, and dreams without extra financial stress. As someone deeply involved in my school through academics, sports, and the arts, this award encourages me to keep striving for excellence as I take my next steps.
