Dear Jada, I am deeply honored and incredibly grateful to be the recipient of the Gloria Stokes Memorial Scholarship. our generous support is not only a financial relief but a huge encouragement for me as I continue my journey in higher education. This scholarship represents more than just financial assistance: It is a testament to the faith you have in my potential and aspirations. As a Screenwriting and Studio Arts major at Loyola Marymount University, my goal is to write and create stories that uplift black voices in underrepresented communities. This scholarship significantly reduces the financial pressure of my educational expenses, allowing me to allocate more time and resources toward research and learning.
