Francesca Stella founded Middletown Project Pride in her town several years ago to promote inclusivity and attempt to reduce the suicide rate within the LGBTQ+ community. This scholarship is a symbol of her continued effort. A portion of the fund was donated by supportive community members. Our mission is to promote positive actions throughout the state. It is vital to the fabric of our communities that there be "Agents of Change." We encourage members of the LGBTQ+ community to volunteer, lead, and participate in actions that will make our communities a positive environment for all.
