To award 5 students from the Northeast a $1,000 scholarship to pay for books. Why? Well, meet my brother Leon M Braswell III. Coming from a family of educators, he found his passion in college admissions, reaching his dream job as the Director of Admissions of Northwestern University in Qatar. Leon loved food, dance, music and reading! In 2016, Leon was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. Undeterred, he lived his life to the fullest until his death on March 7, 2019. His family and friends wanted to share Leon's passion for learning and education by offering this scholarship in his name.
