Dear Escobar Family, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for being chosen as a recipient of the Luis Escobar III Foundation Scholarship. I'm truly honored and delighted by your support of my journey as a Christian student striving to make a difference through engineering. Your generosity not only eases the financial challenges of pursuing my Mechanical Engineering degree at UNF, but also allows me to dedicate more time and energy to my studies and passion projects. With the burden of tuition eased, I can focus on growing as a student, deepening my faith, and exploring ways to use my skills for the greater good. Growing up in Merritt Island, Florida, I've always loved working with my hands—whether it's tuning my car, running, or singing with friends. I'm excited to channel my enthusiasm for spreading the word of God and mechanics into a career that lets me serve others and give back to my community. This scholarship brings me one step closer to that goal. I'm glad to have learned about Luis Escobar III through this scholarship.
