Dear Erika Hallberg, It is a great honor to receive your generous Adam T. Hallberg Mental Illness Study Scholarship that will help fund the expenses of my education at Chamberlain University. I am most grateful for your belief and support, and I would like to thank you for choosing me. I am a 1st year Master's student studying Psychiatric Mental Health - Nurse Practitioner. My love for helping people, and passion for helping those with mental illness is very strong. Advocating for people, and being with them when life feels so hard. Helping people has always been a passion, and this makes my dreams more of a reality. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, spending time with my 3 children (the 2 younger children lost their dad to suicide), going to parks, experiences for me and my children, and watching movies.
