The L. Renee Burch-Bealer Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of an educator who showed up for her students in every way—as a teacher, counselor, mentor, and advocate. Her greatest gift was helping young people believe in themselves and take the next step toward their future. This scholarship will provide financial support to students in Texas entering their first year of college who need financial support to help achieve their academic dreams. Priority will be given to applicants with the highest financial need as they begin their college journey.
