Our mission each year is to award scholarships in Xavier M. Monroe's name to promote his legacy of helping others through the exercise of wisdom and compassion. Xavier had a BIG HEART OF GOLD. He believed in loving and helping others! Xavier has left an indelible mark in the hearts of those who knew and love him. These scholarships will be awarded to underrepresented African Americans youth deserving the opportunity of higher education, who might not otherwise have the means to obtain a degree. We honor Xavier's memory by giving back to the community and helping students in need.
