Dear Daleth, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me as a recipient of the FIAH Scholarship. It means so much to be recognized by someone who is dedicated to helping students like me overcome financial barriers to higher education. Your support comes at a crucial time as I prepare to start my journey at the University of North Texas as a first-generation college student from Dallas. Knowing that this generous assistance lightens the financial load makes it easier for me to focus on pursuing my bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Education and getting involved on campus. I am passionate about making a difference in my community, and I can now throw myself wholeheartedly into my studies, campus activities, and service without as much worry. Having always been involved in the arts and volunteering throughout high school, I’m excited to continue exploring new opportunities at UNT and work toward my dream of a thriving life and a career that lets me help others.
