Dear Dr. Christine Lawther, I want to sincerely thank you for selecting me as one of the recipients of your Dr. Christine Lawther First in the Family Scholarship. I am honored and truly appreciate your generosity in being a fundamental aspect of my academic journey as I actively work toward my goals and follow my ambitions at the University of Alabama with your support. I am currently a junior majoring in Human Development and Family Studies on a pre-OT track. As a first-generation college student, receiving this scholarship means more than financial relief; it represents opportunity and belief in my future.
