First off, I wanted to thank Ms. Emeghara for this wonderful opportunity. With this scholarship, I can help my parents and I further my college degree in biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin. I am so incredibly grateful for this scholarship and plan to use it to cover some of my tuition as a way to ease financial burden off my family. As someone with an older brother with expensive college fees and a younger brother who still needs to attend college, I am so honored to have the opportunity to save more money for my brother’s college funds and my parents retirement fees.
