Dear Campbell Family, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for selecting me as a recipient of the Byte into STEM Scholarship. It truly means so much to be recognized and supported in my journey as a first-generation Haitian-American student passionate about healthcare and service. Receiving this scholarship lifts a significant weight off my shoulders and gives me the freedom to focus wholeheartedly on my biochemistry studies at Florida International University. Your support reassures me that I can keep striving toward my goal of becoming a cardiovascular surgeon without the constant worry of financial obstacles. As someone who recently graduated high school with my CMAA certification and over 300 hours of community service, I’m committed to making a difference both in and out of the classroom. One day, I hope to open a clinic and a homeless shelter to serve those who need it most. Your investment in learners like me not only pushes me closer to these aspirations but also inspires me to give back to my community and lift others as I climb. I’m deeply inspired by your mission to empower Black students through initiatives like this.
