Dear Caitlin, I'm truly grateful to be chosen as a recipient of the MJ Strength in Care Scholarship. The opportunity to be honored in Mary Jane Beck’s memory means so much to me as a nursing student who shares her commitment to caring for others. I’m glad to have learned about Mary Jane through this scholarship, and it inspires me to continue offering compassionate, patient-centered care. The financial support provided by this scholarship helps ease my educational expenses and allows me to focus more fully on my studies and hands-on experiences in the field. As a Certified Nursing Assistant with two years of experience, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact that empathy and dignity can have on patients and their families. This scholarship supports my journey toward becoming a registered nurse—a dream fueled by my personal and professional experiences. Your family’s generosity in establishing this scholarship in Mary Jane’s name motivates me to uphold those same values in my own career.
