The mission of the Scott Hagan Memorial Scholarship is to honor the life and legacy of Scott Hagan by providing meaningful, direct support to families and students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges — especially those with limited financial resources. Scott spent his career as a paraprofessional offering patience, dignity, and unwavering encouragement to children who needed a little extra understanding. This scholarship continues his work by ensuring that families who often feel unseen or overwhelmed receive the resources they need to help their children thrive. Our donor mission is simple and powerful: To remove financial barriers so children with unique needs can access therapies, tools, programs, and supports that improve their learning, development, and quality of life. Each donation — no matter the size — directly funds $500 awards for 2–3 families or students each year, helping them pay for: Speech, occupational, physical, or behavioral therapy Sensory tools and adaptive equipment Tutoring or academic support Specialized programs or enrichment activities Respite care for families Assistive technology and communication tools By contributing to this scholarship, donors become part of Scott’s legacy of compassion, advocacy, and belief in every child’s potential.
