Dear Sherrill Family and Friends, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for selecting me as a recipient of the Audrey Sherrill & Michael D'Ambrisi Music Scholarship. It means so much to me to be honored in this way, and I'm truly touched by your support as I pursue my career in music education. As a recent graduate of Pennsylvania State University, this scholarship lifts a tremendous weight off my shoulders, enabling me to focus even more on my students and my passion for sharing music with others. It will directly go toward relieving my student loans. I am excited to tell you that I have accepted a job offer at Northwestern Lehigh School District in New Tripoli, PA! I will be teaching 6th-8th grade band, wind ensemble, jazz band, and pull-out lessons this upcoming fall. I cannot wait to finally have a classroom of my own and to be able to foster learning through music. I'm honored to carry on Audrey Sherrill and Michael D'Ambrisi's legacy through this scholarship. Dear Sherrill Family and Friends, I am beyond grateful and honored to have received the Audrey Sherrill & Michael D'Ambrisi Music Scholarship. A classical music education has become a restricted path for many, myself included. I prayed to God for help to be able to afford my tuition next year. Through this scholarship, you have opened the door for me. My dream is to finish my Bachelors in violin performance and go further to a masters, and possibly a Doctorate. After I complete my education, I plan to join an orchestra, form a string quartet, and create my own program that will provide young musicians with accessible classical training. My ultimate dream is to fulfill God's will for my life, through sharing music and spreading its peacefulness and joy.
