My primary goal in creating this scholarship is to provide others with a helping hand. We all have dreams and goals that are often made more attainable with the support of others. Having known Clinton Meineke for five years, he reminded me that regardless of how difficult one's situation may seem, there is always someone else facing greater challenges. Even during times when he was uncertain how he would pay his own bills, he would stop to give someone the last of what he had. I always considered him a kind and giving old soul. In his name, I want to keep his spirit of generosity alive by paying it forward.
