Dear BOSOMii, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for being selected as a recipient of the Annie Pringle Memorial Scholarship. It truly means so much to me to be honored in Annie Pringle’s memory and to carry forward her legacy of compassion, guidance, and advocacy in breast health. Receiving this scholarship lifts a significant weight off my shoulders—it allows me to focus on my education and continue my mission of bringing holistic healing to Black communities. Your investment in my journey means I can deepen my studies and expand my reach, helping those who face preventable illnesses and often lack culturally relevant care and support. Having started as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I’ve seen the gaps in wellness resources for people of color, especially around preventive care and breast health. With each new certification and endeavor, my goal is to offer full-spectrum healing—spanning physical, emotional, and spiritual support. I feel called to return to my ancestral home in Georgia, where I hope to create nurturing spaces that educate, empower, and uplift my community. This scholarship brings me closer to making that vision a reality. I’m incredibly moved by your mission to break down barriers to breast health and empower others through education. I’m glad to have learned about Annie Pringle through this scholarship, and her legacy inspires me to serve with the same courage and dedication.
