Antoine Jackson

DETROIT

The Creola Jackson Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Creola Jackson, a devoted mother who faced the challenges of schizophrenia with grace and courage. Her son, Antoine Jackson, created this scholarship to honor her legacy and support students pursuing careers in mental health. This $1,000 non-renewable scholarship aims to encourage and assist graduating high school seniors entering college to study in fields related to mental health.

Mission

The mission of the Creola Jackson Memorial Scholarship is to honor the legacy of Creola Jackson by empowering the next generation of mental health professionals. By providing financial support to graduating high school seniors who are pursuing careers in mental health, we aim to foster a compassionate and inclusive approach to mental health care. Through this scholarship, we seek to promote awareness, understanding, and advocacy, while encouraging young people to make a meaningful impact in their communities. Our goal is to turn personal challenges into opportunities for growth, inspire positive change, and contribute to a more compassionate world.
