My mission is to find a cure for Pompe disease so that no other child will suffer from this. I watched my daughter helplessly battle this disease for a short time, but it seemed like it lasted forever. Every time she looked into my eyes I knew I had to make a change in this world for others. It’s because of her “Emoni” I am in nursing school today. I’m pursuing my BSN degree and when I’m finished i will be a Nurse Practitioner. It took me over 30 years to get here, but I promised her I would help others. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aide right now helping thousands of individuals around the world during their time of need. My mission is to keep fighting together with researchers to cure this disease once and for all.
