I believe having more LGBTQ+ Youth in technology and data science will help improve societal outcomes and make the world a better place to live. I myself was a Low-income, first-generation college student. With the support of Upward Bound (a TRIO program) and other adults interested in helping me achieve my dreams, I am now able to give back to other youth in similar circumstances.
