Growing up in the Antelope Valley as the child of a single mother, no one in my family had a roadmap to higher education. I had to build one from scratch, navigating financial aid, professional networks, and career paths that felt designed for people who already had a head start. That experience shaped everything. The Antelope Valley produces driven, capable students who deserve access to the financial literacy and career guidance that changes outcomes. I know what it costs when that access isn't there and I know what opens up when it is. My work is rooted in that gap. I'm committed to building resources and pathways so the next generation of students from communities like mine doesn't have to figure it out alone.
