All my life I have known that astronomy is my career and vocation. My passion is the cosmos, and I feel the necessity of discover more about it. I feel that the humanity needs to know more about the place where we are in the cosmos and the research of life, so my big dream is making people interested in astronomy. My education goals are improving my English, and improve my Italian languages skills by a summer abroad program in Italy; graduated from General Sciences from Bergen Community College; learn more languages and transfer to four years university to study astronomy. I always have dream about study at Princeton or Berkeley university and I know I am going to do it. This scholarship is important to me because is one more step to help me to pay my education and less money to my mother and me to get. It is one more step on my pathway. These days my mother and I have been having so many challenging times with hard work involved since it is only the two of us in a new country with a different language than Spanish. We must work hard every day, but we know that is going to be for a better future for the both of us. I want to give my mother a better life where she does not have to work that hard and care about her health. When I was in colombia, I did community service with little children since then I realize I want to provide children a better future and education, so I want to write introductive science books for children. I am really interested in become my writing ability in different language to provide science reading to people of all ages around the world with knowledge about science in an easy and attractive way so people get more related with science topics and more educate.
