Learner Math Lover Scholarship
Numbers have always been something that has clicked in my brain. Everyone always envied that trait of mine when I was growing up. Unlike math, English and Science don't work as well in my brain. All my math classes I've taken throughout the course of high school, have been my favorite classes. I have one specific math teacher who made me realize my love for the subject. Going into freshmen year I was new to the district and didn't know very many people. My geometry teacher really showed she believed in me and was impressed with my math skills. Many people called me a mini version of our teacher because not only did I look like her but I received a 100% on almost every single test we took. Math is the one subject I've never been afraid to ask questions or correct my teachers when they made a mistake. My Trig teacher last year told me to let him know if any of the answer keys were wrong in the final review. My hopes are in the future my job will consist of numbers and number crunching. Math has always been a space where I felt like my mind truly let loose.
