I am in a 3+4 year accelerated program where I am working towards a Bachelors in Chemistry and a Doctorate in Pharmacy. My life goal is to be a Pharmacist in a hospital. I am very passionate about helping people, and I love long boarding, math, puzzles, and science. I would be a good candidate because I am overloading my courses to allow for me to complete requirements for the two minors I declared in subjects I am interested in, and because I went over the credit limit (I am taking 19 credits next semester) there is an extra charge of $1285.00 for that credit, and currently I am not sure how to pay for it. I see the scholarships awarded to me (and anyone pursuing a medical-based career) as an investment towards the future of medicine and health care.
