I like the academics with the nursing program. It is very challenging.

My favorite part of York College is the instructors. All throughout my semesters at York College, my instructors have been competent, educated individuals who encourage students to excel academically. They inform students about the depths of their academic majors and the career fields that involve these majors.
I didn't like the lack of financial aid available or the issues with financial aid every semester.
York College of Pennsylvania is a great campus to get the full college life experience without having to pay as much as other well-known schools. The ample opportunity to get involved on campus and feel like I'm at my home away from home has helped me become the independent student I am today.
While the dining hall does not have the best food, they offer a wide variety of differing palettes. Additionally, they offer other eateries around campus, and if the weather is nice, there are many great food locations within short walking distances from the campus.
It is a smaller school, which makes it so that your professors really know you as a person.
The dining halls aren't 100%, but still better than high school cafeteria food.
For reference, Bold does not list my major (I am actually an Environmental Horticulture major). The whole Biology department has been quite lovely and I have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences at the school thus far. Professors are very nice and it is easy to make connections. There are many on-campus opportunities for work or volunteering.
If you have dietary restrictions, contact the dining hall before coming and they can work with you on food selection.
