Yes! One of our biggest, most popular events, is called One Day One Dog. This even happens in the Spring each year and is a time for all students, faculty, and staff to get involved in community service opportunities on campus and in the local community. It's a wonderful opportunity to get involved and give back to our community members with your peers.

Hi Noelle! There are no separate starter fees to participate in clubs and organizations on campus, besides sororities and fraternities. These are meant to be fun ways to get involved without placing a financial burden on students. However, there may be additional activities planned within clubs that could require personal money, but they are not typically a requirement!

Student get involved in many different things at Wingate including on campus jobs, clubs and organizations, and attending athletic events. Some examples of our registered student organizations include intramurals, academic, faith-based, and cultural clubs, or sororities and fraternities. Wingate offers students all scholarships they are eligible within their acceptance letter, after completing the application process. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (fafsa.gov) is the next best way to add to your aid package. When you list Wingate on that application we can send you an anticipated financial aid package. Finally, we do accept outside scholarships and there are many websites you can view to begin that applying for those opportunities. Thanks!
