I am online-only, and I love the freedom. Basically, you have your assignments due every Sunday, and that's the extent of your deadlines. There may be a discussion board due Wednesday, but overall, I would recommend it.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I didn't think the curriculum of my Intro to Technology class was acceptable, I thought it would help me as a beginner, but it taught me a lot of things most people wouldn't need to know if they aren't going into this career field.
The other thing that I don't like regards WilmU's website for their students: sometimes when I go to click on links the page is down, and then the next day it's back up again. It's enough of a hassle to be inconvenient for students.
So far, my education experience has been fantastic. After graduating with my Associate's in 2008, I decided to finish my Bachelor's in 2021. I've been taking classes online and it's been a great experience for me especially since I have such a busy schedule. The way their online portal is set up is very easy to navigate. It's also a bit easier to contact the professors through online chats and emails if there are any questions. Overall, it's been a good experience to continue my education.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
There's not much that I don't like about WilmU since I'm taking classes online.
