WHAT I LIKED

It is a great school to start your education, with incredible resources that help you prepare for a later education or go directly into your desired field.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I believe there are not things that I did not like if not things that I would like to be improved.

WHAT I LIKED

Overall, Waubonsee is a great starter school; it builds students in certain areas that are needed to succeed in college. This school has taught me time management, advocacy, and overall the flow of how college works and what I need to do to succeed.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

Be aware that at Waubonsee there are tons of people who are willing to help you, but you must be informed yourself. Their help is great, but ultimately it is your education and you should be hands-on with picking classes and setting up your college career the way you want it to be.

WHAT I LIKED

To begin with, I have only attended Waubonse virtually due to the pandemic but I will be attending in person this Fall. Overall the education I've received was great not the best considering many of the online classes don't have proper supplies for a student to strive to their full potential but, I understand that it's an online course where the student is responsible.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

What I like about Waubonsee is the help full staff, especially the advisors. My advisor was very helpful in answering my questions and gave great suggestions on what classes to take and how to contact colleges or universities to transfer.

WHAT I LIKED

You can pace yourself; to get your degree. Not once did I feel rushed. The professors are also very understanding and it’s an easy school to maneuver around whether you are at the downtown campus or the main campus it’s easy. The people are also nice and helpful for starting students. It took me a while to get my AS with my busy schedule but I did it and so can you! Going to Waubonsee is also affordable if you are worried about paying for tuition.

WHAT I LIKED

During my time at WCC, I've really enjoyed the academic aspect of my experience. The teachers are overall very good at explaining concepts and providing feedback when needed. I enjoy the atmosphere of the campus and the clubs that are offered.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

I think that prospective students should be aware of the textbook expenses and know that commuting is the only option.

1.0

WHAT I LIKED

I like that the healthcare classes and programs were conducted in their own building. I also like that the college works with Rush Copley Medical Center and Amita Mercy.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There is a major lack of collaboration and communication among administrators. Also, the administration has not supported students in my class who have requested changes to be made regarding material and protocol implemented in classes.
