Are WWC scholarships based on merit or financial need?

We have both! Merit scholarships are awarded by our Admissions Office at the time of acceptance and all applicants are eligible for consideration. These can total up to $24,000 per academic year. No separate application is required. Our Financial Aid Office awards need-based grants based on the results of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to federal loans and grants, we award need-based grants in-house. Our FAFSA school code is 002979. The NC Free Tuition Plan and Milepost One are separate programs.

For Fall 2022, room and board at Warren Wilson College is $12,050. This is all-inclusive and includes your meal plan and any dorm you are staying in.
