My Valpo experience is just beginning but through the times I have been there I have seen just how awesome their university is. They have a very lively social life but still have students who find academics important. They have lots of food options and their staff is so helpful.
Valpo gives me the large school vibe but with small school aspects. It truly is the best combination of small and large schools.
Everyone there is so open and welcoming. People actually talk to you and answer your questions, which is really nice when the last college you went to tossed you around without any straight answers. They're really great to work with and very invested and dedicated to getting you to where you need to go. The college campus is gorgeous, too, and the number of clubs you can get involved with is really high! You can also start your own club, which I intend to do. They're honest, straightforward, and genuine, and it has been a wonderful experience so far.
College orientation is an all-day event, which is tiring, but super fun! The only other big thing to be aware of is that the tuition is a bit high. It's a private school. They do offer pretty good academic scholarships based on your GPA, though, which helps a ton.
