What types of programs does USC upstate have to help with internship opportunities, career planning and development?
University of South Carolina-Upstate
Hey Amelia! It depends on the degree program you're interested in. Once you hit the point in your college journey where you're figuring out your next path, your assigned advisor can work with you to figure out the best internship for you. Additionally, Career Services will also help find you find a job or plan a career path. You just have to set a meeting with them when you're ready (I'd say start communicating with them around junior year). :)

How does housing work at USC-Upstate?
University of South Carolina-Upstate
Hey Amaya! We have a requirement that freshman must live on-campus. Unless you will be living with parents/guardians within 50 miles of the school, then you can exempt. After you've been admitted and have set up your student accounts, you will submit a housing application. When the housing office receives this, they will make the appropriate accommodations. If you want to live with a particular person, you will put each other on your applications so the housing office can assign you together. :)
