Great people and knowledgeable staff, with everything I was looking for from a college, including great food
Not too sure, half my time there has been during Covid so I’m only really getting to know the school right now
I like UNT’s professors because they seem to genuinely care about the students' education.
I didn’t like how long UNT took to process my transfer grades from the community college.
The thing I like most about the University of North Texas is that there is a dynamic of students that go to the school so that there is not only one race at one school. You never know what you could learn from another student and how they live differently from you.
There's nothing that I don't like about the school
The campus is incredibly diverse and inviting. There are plenty of organizations to join, and places to hang out or study. So many professors genuinely want students to succeed and are willing to help. Professors are also understanding and try to be engaging as possible. My college experience started in 2020 and although it didn't start off the way I had imagined, professors and UNT as a whole were truly looking out for everyone and doing the best they could.
I wouldn't immediately recommend the dorms especially since there are plenty of apartments that are within walking distance and far cheaper than what the dorm experience adds up to.
Since starting at UNT I have had nothing but great experiences. I work alongside the advising team to help make sure I stay on track to graduate. I also love the diversity and inclusion of the campus, it makes me feel welcomed.
Although I’ve only been attending for close to a year, the experience I’ve had at the University of North Texas has been really good overall! They have many resources to give you the easiest education experience!
Price of parking permits, dining hall food, and dorm life. My only complaints would be some of the dining hall foods and Maple Hall dorms’ lack of update.
