WHAT I LIKED

I'm appreciative of the opportunities UM provides for its students, as well as the fact that there's always an event going on. There's never a dull moment on campus, which makes it easy to socialize and find your crowd.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

With UM's growing number of students, there's also an increase in housing problems considering that they're reconstructing two important dormitories with no housing replacement. After your freshman year, you're more than likely not guaranteed housing, which is difficult in an expensive city such as Miami.

The dining hall could use some more additions, and the Wellness Center needs to be expanded and updated.

WHAT I LIKED

I love that studying outside is an option year-round. The weather is beautiful and there is so much outdoor seating. It is also a very diverse school, so I have had the opportunity to learn about so many different cultures, which I love. The resources are endless; I never feel at a loss at this school.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

There is a lot of partying that can feel overhwelming, however, it really isn't what everyone does or the only thing that people do (although it looks like it at surface level). I feel like this holds people back form coming. I don't really party, but you're located in an amazing city and there is always something to do.
