Hello Maria, The University of Memphis has plenty of resources and programs catered towards freshmen as well as first generation students. We have classes labeled as "ACAD" which is offered to freshmen only to help with the transition from high school to college. We also offer various tutoring sites in all areas of study, and a community like atmosphere within the residence halls to make your living space as comfortable as possible to ensure your success here.
