I am a commuter and do not live on campus. I like U of L and the simple layout of the campus and access to professors. It is easy to navigate the U of L website and find who you need to contact and the school and to find current events.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
There are many professors that students have given very low ratings. I feel that those professors should find a new way of teaching due to the student feedback instead of not changing anything.
I like the academic opportunities available at the University of Louisville. I also like the access to sporting events to support the school's teams. The remodeling of some of the university's buildings has been a very nice addition to the campus.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I believe the online experience for students is lacking in many ways. From comparing with my in-person peers I know my experience has been very different from theirs. I have not made any social relationships since enrolling. I have also been stunted in my academics because there are certain classes that were not transferred to online learning when COVID-19 surfaced.
I appreciate this opportunity to be a part of a great community, this campus shows me support beyond measures. The resources here on campus have helped me academically and socially.
The University of Louisville is in a metropolis but has so much culture and diversity around that it is hard to get sick of. Also, the school is a mecca for qualified students and athletes.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The scholarships and financial aid for transfer students are somewhat low.
While we do our best to show up-to-date information, due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, it is possible that the data we are showing about test requirements, application deadlines, and more, are inaccurate. Please verify with the college itself via their website to ensure you are aware of all requirements and deadlines.
