Does University of Louisiana at Lafayette allow students to double-major, and does it cost more?
University of Louisiana at Lafayette
Hi Reginald, the short answer is yes. First-time freshmen wouldn’t be able to declare a double major right off the bat but could later down the road. You would pay for however many credits it would take you to complete both degrees, more than likely, it would cost more than just one major but everyone has different situations and your advisor could help you evaluate those options.

There are an exceptional amount of resources available to contribute to the success of students. The culture of the university is apparent all throughout the campus. There is something for everyone here, whether that be an activity or an organization.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Limited parking and university transit could be unorganized at times.
I love ULL for the same reasons I love Louisiana as a whole - Culture, Culture, Culture. The campus is quite lively and has a way of always feeling like home. We're a community. A family. I can't speak for all professors, but I could tell that most of my professors cared about my success.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
BEWARE OF MOUNT GRIFFIN (Super tall building. DO NOT schedule classes higher than the 3rd floor.... there are no elevators!!)
As a student who went to UL, transferred to another college and transferred back, I have to say I love this college honestly. Everything from experience, to the buildings, the campus, and the food. It is a fantastic experience.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
I do not like the bus rides from the cajun field to the campus. That is the only thing I dislike.
While we do our best to show up-to-date information, due to COVID-19 and other factors out of our control, it is possible that the data we are showing about test requirements, application deadlines, and more, are inaccurate.
