It is a great campus experience and most of the students I have met have been super nice. The art department is great and really inspires your creativity to prosper.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Sometimes there is violence around campus and I do not always feel self as a female-presenting person walking around by myself at night.
The breadth of programs at UCONN is honestly fantastic. You can explore so many programs and paths of study. There are also hundreds of organizations on campus, so you're bound to find a community of people with whom you resonate.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
UCONN typically does not award very much aid. Occasionally, you'll get an advisor who is not very much help. The UCPD has a habit of not taking sexual assault and hate crime allegations seriously.
