UConn is great for traditional undergraduates with a large campus with lots of community involvement and engagement.

UConn is not great for nontraditional students. Classes in the AH program are offered only during business hours M-F with little flexibility for work.

WHAT I LIKED

The breadth of programs at UCONN is honestly fantastic. You can explore so many programs and paths of study. There are also hundreds of organizations on campus, so you're bound to find a community of people with whom you resonate.

WHAT I didn’t LIKE

UCONN typically does not award very much aid. Occasionally, you'll get an advisor who is not very much help. The UCPD has a habit of not taking sexual assault and hate crime allegations seriously.
