A top regional college granting degrees in one of nine engineering or professional majors, the Coast Guard Academy develops leaders of character, each earning a Bachelor of Science degree and a commission as an Ensign in service to the nation and humanity. Regarding the information listed below - we are a test optional institution for SAT/ACT. Additionally, CGA's current student population is 38% minority and 40% women (statistics below are incorrect). CGA is also tuition free (essentially a ~$400k value), and cadets are paid a stipend while attending.

Hi Khush, average GPA is 3.6-3.8 but we accept people in a much wider range and have a prep school program as well. Regarding SAT/ACT, we are test optional.
