Three Rivers is a great school to introduce you to your college career. I think it is best to get a 2-year degree at Three Rivers before transferring to a 4-year college. The medical assisting program is great; the teachers are excellent and the program allows me to get a medical degree, as well as fill in prerequisites before I transfer to a new program at another college.
The one thing that bothers me about college, in general, is all of the actions needed while processing your account or even taking classes through another Connecticut Community College.
I like the environment and the why the professors take their time to help you with materials you don’t understand.
I would say not knowing many people
I liked that it was very affordable and close to home. Most of the classes are online now which makes it easier for me when I have a full-time job. There is always someone there to help you with any questions you might have.
I didn't like that there were issues with some of my fasfa coming through or that there is not that many clubs or sports so not much of a "college social life".
