The academics are decent and there are professors who care about their jobs and make themselves available to you.
There isn’t much to do outside of partying. There aren’t as many clubs as there should be, and campus events are boring. The town itself is very boring and it’s near impossible to not get stir crazy if you don’t have a car. It also gets brutally cold in the winter and there are very few sunny days when it isn’t cold.
Currently attend school online. Based on reviews and feedback I have received. Plattsburgh is a great school to attend. Professors are willing to help you succeed and encourage you to seek help when needed. The staff is really helpful and supportive.
At the moment no negative feedback about my educational experience at Plattsburgh.
I am an international student at SUNY Plattsburgh. I chose this school because the tuition is comparatively cheaper and they offer financial aid to international students. Campus buildings are accessible from dorms and it's easy to live on campus even if I don't own a car. I would say food in dining is fine.
But one thing I was surprised is the price of the meal plan and the housing. If you live in dorms, you have to pay for meal plans, which will increase your total amount of annual payment. I moved out of my dorm after one semester and now live off-campus. Also, the climate in winter is extremely terrible.
I liked about SUNY College at Plattsburgh is that amount of resources and website they provided for me to help me with my academics, mental health, and physical health.
I didn’t hate anything while being there
