In my senior year, the library closed due to asbestos and is currently under construction...This sucks but there is a local library that is beautiful and a temporary one that is set up in one of the academic halls.
I liked that you can carve out your niche within the prospective stem majors. I was able to find professors that did research in an area that reflected my future plans, and it helped me to get into competitive schools.
