As a communication major, I have loved every minute of my experience as a Southeastern student. I have met a lot of amazing people and I have such wonderful professors.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
The campus is amazing. If you sign up with GrubHub, you can get delivery to your dorm. The Lion's Den has a lot of food options you can choose from, and The Mane Dish is on the second floor and the Mane Dish has amazing food.
Availability to interact with professors is high as the department is quite small.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
There are professors at this university in the chemistry department that after 5 years of college experience, I believe they should not be educators and hold students back.
I am so glad that I applied and started attending Southeastern Louisiana University. I feel like if I didn't apply when I did I wouldn't have went to school at all. Southeastern Louisiana University is such an affordable school and they offer all kinds of support such as financial, mental, and physical. They also have tons of food options to choose from which is a plus for me.
WHAT I didn’t LIKE
Some of the professors at this school only care about themselves and not their students. Also unfortunately the crime is alarmingly high around the campus. If you drive to campus you have to park way off campus. If you stay in dorms it will be more expensive. Textbooks are expensive. Buying things out of the bookstore is expensive also.
